Me vs the Ferrari... true story - I WHIPPED HIS ASS!

There's me and him, side by side, straight road. Standing start when I though I'll have this guy.

He was with me for the first bit but as I got up to speed he slowly faded into the distance behind me. I'm lookin' for cops the whole time of course - no doubt Ferrari boy had his radar detector/jammer/cop electronics deep fryer on.

It was awesome, he's going as fast as he can, I'm doin' the same and me on the good ol' RF left him like he was standing still

    ha HA!!!!!!!!!

edit - The previously hidden (well... yellow) text that so many missed...

... oh yeah... did I mention it was 5:30 on NW just by Patiki ... God I love being able to split...

Wonder if they'll have a "rich taxpayers" lane soon...

Your RF and the Ferraris of the past have something in common. An RF rider told me that they were styled by the same guy. The strakes on the side of the old Mondial and your RF are do look similar (Google it) Consider yourself to be riding a 2 wheeled Ferrari then :-)

Always liked the look of the RF's. Something a bit different about them, makes them stand out. I like bikes that are unmistakeable, even by the "untrained" eye.

So Nigel, you've posted this on KiwiBiker for all to see and approve but I bet the last person to ever hear about it will be your wife . I know what the reaction is if ever one of my mates let something slip about biking misbehaviour in her earshot: She already thinks I have the mental makeup of a child.

On the other hand, me and my Fireblade couldn't catch up with a teenager on a souped-up Civic hatch.
When I mentioned this to my mechanic, he gave me advice that putting petrol to an empty tank could actually make a bike slightly faster.

He was on a conference call and number crunching on a calculater with the other hand,he has the automatic version with powersteering....and his sound system cost more than your bike. He's only had it up to 120kph so far...but he's cheated on his wife 4 times already this week.

Yeah but your arse will never look big on an RF.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Guess who eas trying to prove they dont have a small................
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
