    OH NOESSS!!!11

my bike has got a massive stone chip init just under the front left headlight its about 5mm big and all the paint looks like its tearing offaround the edges what can I do to prevent more paint peeling off other than sticking some trusty duct tape on it?

There are two methods I can think of from the top of my head. Both will require a teaspoon of cement, in the first method you apply it to the affected area of your bike, in the second method you swallow the cement yourself - cause sure as shit, one or the other of you needs to harden up.

Getting the panel beater to plastic weld and re-spray my front fairing cost 160 bucks. If you're that worried about it that's an option, very good price for the job he did

Not since you had them done, no.

So I'm guessing you haven't dropped your new toy yet, if you're worried about a stone-chip?

Poofta, just say its a battle scar from batteling a TL, a Duke and Aprilla. And you won too.

Ducatilover, we know you have written off your bike due to your own sillyness and choice on not to listen to older, wiser members, so please don't remind us all the time.

on the cars we used nail polish, the colors are amazing. but be careful it does not react to the paint and do a test spot somewhere.
cheapest option, unless your getting an expensive polish.

if you don;'t have the colour, use clear nail polish. Only a dab will do.

Don't use sticky tape! when you peel it of some day, the paint will go with it.

Was more like a battle with some VTR1000's, Gixxer 750's, R1, TL's, CBR's and he was still faster! Thats the problem with trying to get past those bigger CC'd bikes with big hot sticky tyres, they like to throw stones.
