Urea Truck trailer incident at work this morning

Had a Urea Truck trailer incident this morning, luckily no one was injured and it happened onsite instead of the open road.. would hate to think just how much damage a the trailer unit would have done coming off @ 90Kmph..

Did the drawbar come off and cause the accident? That little car did well all things considered. Just glad it wasn't a bike park!

Hey, you work over the road from me. Do you ride to work?? Don't think I've seen any TL's go past here. I'm in an office right by the road so get to see most things.

P.S. That car got pwned. The HSE dept is going to have a field day over this one.

Now that was really silly, its almost as bad as saying, "I bet it put the shits up the driver"
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

"Lets not go to Camelot, tis but a silly place." True quote that I'm sure could be applied to many KB conversations.

    K14.. I'm in taranaki.. Not Christchurch.. =)

I work at the only Urea Plant in New Zealand.. though I'm sure we've got service centre's and consignment stores in CHCH...

A pin was missing from the trailer unit.. and the other pin couldn't take the load going around a very sharp corner

I was following one of these after visiting SD... the dust it was giving off was burning my eyes something chronic.. had to irrigate them when I got home.

Poor zuki driver, that's scary shit.

I'll try and get the roll-over ones a friend has and post them sometime... they're scary

you can see in pic 2 and 4 where the pin is missing from the drawbar,I'd be interested in knowing how one of those could go missing

I'm not in chch anymore, and I know exactly where you are, those three condensing towers are very distinctive. We supply you with gas and steam (and maybe a few other things) , work for ngc.
