    What an Awesome Day.................

with awesome company, and a good pace allowing us to eat up those miles in a reasonable time. Thanks guys. 22 was in relatively good nick today I thought, it was pretty well sign posted where there was trouble, just one spot on a hill that had some pea metal, other than that it was just 22 really. Then a detour to Mercer on the way back, thru to SH 25 where Dave split and the rest of us went onto Kaiaua, then Kawakawa Bay, Clevedon. Paco & Randy then split for the motorway home, Nhuan & I went through to Maraetai, Whitford, Howick & then went our seperate ways. Nice Bling on the R1 there Pac, hope to catch you guys again soon.

    Cheers

it was a good ride that I slept real tight on through the night and just woke up now to post this (and I wasn't only talking about 22.......)

Anyway, great ride guys, lookin forward to next weekends to come.

SH22 is full of gravel everywhere and huge construction areas on some part of the roads. And we're talking about clay roads now, not simply construction. I'd stay away from that road if I were you. Real away. The last part around Cleava....i meant Clevedon, was great. Better than SH22, as I'm sure a lot of people in here would agree.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

    and oh yeh,

don't believe the positive ride reports circulating. The sometimes referred to road was truly awful, in such a shitty state. I would not recommend anyone venture down it all summer. I had a terrible time.

I hope to never see those bastards again.

So what happened in the pic, did you's leave all the Suzooki's behind?

That's quite a lineup evil clown, that'll be P, N, M, F, & V standing in order from lh to rh...not that I know anything at all about anything, i know nothing?? I still havn't seen that blue r6 & black r1 up close!

Btw, you guys must be awesome riders cos I heard that 22 was like a war zone at the moment?

yup, you'd have to be an absolute fool to consider riding it any time soon.

I must say, it was a first for me to stop, wait for a digger to fill in a hole in the road, and then ride over what he deemed 'good enough' for an undefined number of sports bikes to negotiate.

Pity that hole will remain, deeming the road impassable until March 06.
