on my YZF I plumbed for a 520 setup from 532. Why? Saved 1 & 1/4 kg of spinning weight & if it is good enough for a racing GSXR1000 then should be ok for my 750.Originally Posted by kerryg
Word of warning I spent the extra & got Afam sprockets (ally rear, steel better for wear, but top dollar ally ones are worlds better than cheap ally) & DID Xring chain.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
I know you arent asking, but I'll tell you anyway...
I got an RK 530, RX-Ring Chain. for $140 for the VFR. Not the size you are talking about but seemed way cheaper than anyone else was offering.
It's fitting those damn belts that's expensive, that and the breakages that always happen at the back of nowhere.Originally Posted by scumdog

Hope this helps bro:
chain = DID 530 Gold X-ring, 110 links
front sprkt = 15 tooth (tried a 14th for a while;but original seems more suited overall)
rear sprkt = 43 tooth
both sprkts alloy
got it off Busters : www.busters-accessories.co.uk
got a mate in London to send it on for me; couldn't believe local prices here in NZ! we're being ripped off in so many ways, but you only realise once you've travelled/lived overseas.
Mostly weight.. lighter chain lighter sprockets, trade off is more strech less strenght
Weight, and especially friction losses. Puts more power to the wheel.Originally Posted by MrMelon
