When I lived in OZ I was asked if I was a Pom a couple of times when I visted Victoria,(their a bit backward down there). But then I actualy prefer that to being mistaken for an American.
No disrespect ment to Yanks but there just arn't as many people keen on shooting at Poms.

I've had plenty of people mistake me for a Pom, even while still in NZ. Americans seem to do it most often.

For you maybe, but I don't watch the thing.I prefer to read - and it doesn't matter who wrote the book and where they come from...reading only enhances my language skills.

I've never seen tits like that on a Pom.

Finally saw the movie tonight (an hour ago) and gave it a 7/10. Good acting, appreciated the NZ sentiment, lol even Shadbolt acted well! Didn't like the US transvestite (that's just me) but did enjoy the dipiction of American culture mixed in with what felt like a good old Kiwi movie!

Btw, Hopkins' Aotearoa accent was average IMO. It's a hard one to act out because truth be known Kiwi's don't have an accent, mate!
