The name DSRTurbo throws up concerns from me straight away, I've never personally had dealings with them but having owned a few Skylines and being associated with a few affiliated forums i've heard some mixed opinions on DSR and their gear, tread carefully, those filters could be knock offs, I know at least their turbos are all chinese assembled and many have had problems with them, who's to say the filters aren't chinese fakes as well?
Just saying.
Nah there genuine air filters mate. Emailed K&N the other night and they referred me on to these guysI ended up purchasing a air filter from them last night. Hope to get it soon Thanks

Previous statement withdrawn in that case, the guys must have their shit together![]()
don't over-oil it, or it will be like running with the choke on (experience - I have a K&N on the GS1100)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Do the bike ones not come pre-oiled? I've bought K&N's, both panel and pod, for cars before and they've always come ready to install...

yup kn oil filters come pre oiled. I asked dsr and he said when you clean the oil filter with soap and water you need to use kn oil spray or use the complete kn recharge kit that cleans the air filter and then sprays it with the oil here ( LINK )
Yeah done my car ones a few times, once sprayed, give it a good rinse and leave it to dry naturally, when re-oiling I usually apply enough to just turn the filter medium pink, I've found any more than that, things get messy
Absolute nightmare on stuff with MAF sensors too...
My Honda
Pretty big are these motorcycle air filters for these Honda's
