.....Hows your swelling going Colapop? I was like a beach ball for about a week. I've got photos you wouldn't believe!....

Yeah still sore, thankfully my boss told me to take today off "if I needed it".
I woke up this morning after having laid on my sore side and f*ck me did it hurt. The codiene/panadol/nuerofen/volrtaren mix has been good though!! Ok ok not all at the same time. I don't really like taking too many drugs but they do help. When it doesn't hurt, from the extraction, it's bloody good. The best part is not having a headache that stretches up the side of my neck from the inside.
The swelling hasn't been too bad at all for me. I haven't had too much to eat over the last couple of days though. Not hungry and hurts when I open my mouth too much. (Those that know me are laughing their nuts off right now!)
Brian, Waylander get it done sooner rather than later, the un-pain is great!

p.s. Got the bill Saturday (they don't piss around) $625. So that's a lot different to 2 1/2 that I was quoted. I think the Anestitist charges separately or something? Cheers for the support - doesn't make the soreness less but makes me feel better. (None of the girls offered to come round and help me feel better though!)

Wow, $625 is pretty good, even if the anaesthetist does charge separately. I had a general recently and the anaesthetist only charged $280 for that.

Bet you are so glad you had the work done, just think how much more you'll enjoy Christmas. Give it a week and you'll be as right as rain! Good luck.

I'll be glad once I stop being sore. But it comes and goes so it's bearable.
I like general anaesthetic. I sort of had a long lazy blink then it was 3/4 hour later. Took about a hour to get properly unfoggy. Then it was sweet.
Getting these teeth out does knock ya round a bit though - I still don't feel 100%. (Although I did manage to take the bike for a warrant and reg. - coz I'm at home sick!!)

Either someone who's got no idea and trying to rip you off (what you'd like to hear) or someone who knows exactly what the problem is and can help you with it. Did you dentist mention 'Pericoronitis'? It's a general term to with inflamation of the gums. Amoxycilan's the usual remedy.

Not that I am aware of. Gonna try the penicillin for a while and if it does nothing then I'll find another doctor.

Was only a bit confused cause I've never been in and out that quick before. The guy didn't even use the stephoscope (is that the right name? whatever they hold up to your chest to listen to your heart beat/breathing/whatever else goes on in there) when I told him about the cough I've had for the last month or so.
