'90 VFR or CBR 1000 similar vintage.
Has anyone bought disc's from Waihi - Power Motorcycles?

I got a rear for my RGV250 last year....
Not quite the same as it has no carrier, just a slab of stainless.
The bloke was nice to deal with though. Sorry can't be more helpful

    Update

With the first set from Waihi the best I could get the disc lined up was 0.3mm out.
Guy from Waihi was all nice about my concerns, and gave me another set to try.
They were marginally better. One was good and the other no-matter where you turned the disc on the mount it rocked slightly. Which means that its not flat. It followed the disc, not the wheel. So the wheel was ok.
So using my Dial gauge I found that if I left one screw undone the disc was good like less than 0.1mm. So on that mount I fitted 2 thicknesses of 80gram paper and when tightened it didnt distort the disc.

Original pads had way too much life left in them to biff, so with some 80grade paper on a flat surface I refaced them.

So the moral of the story...
    1. Dont own a bike that need new disc's
    2. Take it to a shop and open your wallet and be prepared to be screwed
    3. If 2 doesnt appeal, buy a dial gauge and be prepared for grief.

But for me having been there done that, I now have disc's that are straight to 0.1mm and brakes that are smooth, no biting, oscillations or other nasties.

Well, the new front discs and pads are worn in. No complaints at all with the Power Motorcycles discs. They work just fine.
