Depending on what you were buying a dealer would give you a grand to do a deal im sure but privately mate you would stuggle to get near that.....not being negative but theres just so many cheap older cars around for way less than a grand.......

This my neighbor, Nursultan Tuleiakbay. He is pain in my assholes. I get a window from a glass, he must get a window from a glass. I get a step, he must get a step. I get a clock-radio, he cannot afford. Great success!

i would insure it for $800 to a grand mate...........if its nice and tidy and goes well then its a good little car.......if someone stole it you would have to replace it so.......the other thing is you can always take it to a couple of dealers and they can tell you a retail price and write it on there business card and take that with you to the insurance........hopefully frosty will have a look back at your thread and tell you exactly.ive been out of the game for a wee while.

Id do third party insurance and the money I saved on insuraance I'd invest in REAL insurance--A set of solex locks.
Its $500-1000 sependingon condition --$1500 is silly money with those Ks

Wow, you really don't like her do you?

Dan, I was a dealer for 11yrs, taking an extended break as of March this year. As a trade-in you'd be lucky to get $300-500 for it. As the others have said it is worth $800-$1000.
