I had a honda shadow 600 that was maroon and I named her Betty.
I now have a new bike...it's a black 750 honda magna and her name is Black Betty.

Still haven't found a cool black bike with a betty sitting on it yet.
I've finished okay...there are no last words of wisdom...it's time to pull your pants up and go home!

It's got a lot better look than the standard fully faired version parked up the road from work (next to James Cook Hotel).
That thing looks like a train! (I hear ya - like mine looks any better? No no, you're right it's a crapper!)

My avatar has nothing to do with biking or me really. It's my daughter's 3 year old rabbit. When he got to about 18 months old he started pissing on people as they walked by (with remarkable accuracy it must be said). He'd also start humping your feet if you stood in his run for any length of time. Vet said he's a healthy young male and was probably sexually frustrated as he has no mate. One night as a bit of a joke I threw a teddy bear in his run to give him something to screw .. .and blow me down, when I had a look 20 minutes later he had mounted the bear and was giving it a good old seeing to. Over and over again ... for weeks on end. Funny as hell to watch. He's actually f**cked that bear to death and is now onto his second bear (the one in my avatar) which I noticed the other day has also started to come apart. I am in awe of that rabbit's stamina.
I'm a bit into sci-fi (have to go in 10 minutes and watch enterpriise) and did a google search for avatars. One of the things that I allways used to carry around with me was a big roll of cloth tap. Used it on my own bikes, but mostly other peoples bikes to temp a mend after skidding off. I read what it says on the avatar and cracked up laughing, hence it became my new avatar. That and the fact that I now have a sprotbike and have turned to the "dark side"

I'm sorry to all lovers of my avatar, but it is getting changed, at least for a little while.
