Cookie Monster is a complex and tortured figure. The album itself is still available down some of the internet's backwaters (see http://tinyurl.com/9zqnd) but by the late 90's, most hardcore Cookie' fans had been turned off by what many viewed as his rampant commercialism. Its really his depth of character and persistence through hardship that lead me to choose him as my Avatar. I hope that goes some way to explaining it…
