    Ride safe

OK.... as it seems theres going to be a few rock up for this ride and there is a bit of concern showing regarding cc's and new riders.
So Bren and myself had a quick chat and this is the basics as to what we came up with.

Meet up at The Yaldhurst pub @ 10:00am Sun
It would be good to be riding by 10:30.

Can all bikes please be full of gas at the meeting point and then everyone will need to top up at Springfield (this will allow the remaining ride to return back to Springfield before needing more fuel)

We will ride the 'Old West Coast rd' to Waddington then onto Springfield.
If everyone is happy to we will ride to the Viaduct lookout, then return to the Bealey pub for a drink and grub not to forget a good old chin wag (talk shit bout CX500's)

Right then, All riders ride at "their pace" and do not out ride it. Regular stops will be made for regroups, should the group split into two then someone will keep and eye out for the last riders.

    Any Questions ask away...
    cheers DD

Sounds like a well thought out plan, although I will keep away from the beer as I have enough trouble staying on the road without alcohol in my system!!! Sniper, I am a fairly new rider, First day out was with bren and a couple of other guys when we went to akaroa. I am riding to Ashburton every day now so I am feeling a lot more comfortable on the bike.

    Cool

I'll aim to be there. I'm reasonably new to CHC so it will be good to meet up with a few Kiwi Bikers.

It would be cool if you dont mind riding with MissSniper IF I shoot off. I don't plan on it, but you never know.

Perfect ( not in a bad way) Miss Sniper will be really scared too. I might do a couple of tail end charlie runs though.

    So who is coming.

Weather forcast is for fine weather and even more sun on the west side of the mountains.
The distance from Christchurch to Arthurs Pass is approx 150km and the Viaduct is maybe about another 10km (I'm not sure exactly where along the road the viaduct is on my map).

So the round trip from Christchurch to the Viaduct and back to Christchurch would be in the ballpark of around 320km.

well I dont... not any more, but there are bikes that can only just scratch 200k on a tank.... but you know that.

And IMO I find theres nothing more anoying than 90% of people fill up and then 10k up the rd the other 10% decide they want to
But hey... its all up to you lot, Gav should someone run out... then we will disect the VFR and drain its tank as we know you will have enough for the day:spudbn:
