So Bren and myself had a quick chat and this is the basics as to what we came up with.

Meet up at The Yaldhurst pub @ 10:00am Sun
It would be good to be riding by 10:30.

Can all bikes please be full of gas at the meeting point and then everyone will need to top up at Springfield (this will allow the remaining ride to return back to Springfield before needing more fuel)

We will ride the 'Old West Coast rd' to Waddington then onto Springfield.
If everyone is happy to we will ride to the Viaduct lookout, then return to the Bealey pub for a drink and grub not to forget a good old chin wag (talk shit bout CX500's)

Right then, All riders ride at "their pace" and do not out ride it. Regular stops will be made for regroups, should the group split into two then someone will keep and eye out for the last riders.

    Any Questions ask away...
As above..... lets do this shit

Well the VF400f was well knowen for its love of fuel, but tell ya what for its year it was a bloody grunty trucker for a 400.
You will be right Jamiepo, theres a pump at the pass

PS: wrap up..... it will be cold

    wow...what a day!!

weather was goooood, even great I could say. Cool to start, but turned into a gorgeous day, especially as we got closer to the hills near springfield. Total count was about 18 I think, which included a few strays that popped a long for the ocassion, an old mate I hadn't seen for awhile Nice to catch up with him.
And really cool to meet the new blokes, like Sparrow, AdamB (? it was you on the Ducati?) and Jeff De Maori (FINALLY!!), Huntaway, and Jamiepoo ...Did I miss anyone?, altho I didn't get to chat to many AGAIN! Damn gotta do betta next time...
and as for the one who didn't show up...hmmmmmm Gav, where was you?!

    post some pics soonish.

    Cool

Great photos Rashika - love the one of me (Of course!!!). Had a great day, I am pleased I changed my mind and went. Should have been studying, should have been moving house but the ride was fantastic. The cop with the flashing lights gave me a hell of a fright! I was definitely in the groove coming home but my hands got really sore in the winter gloves.
Looking forward to the BBQ. great to meet a few more KB'ers and also to reconnect with Rob and Transalp.
