    250 Multis

There are a number of members that have 250 multis. Some have a 250x3 or a 250x4, are we still allowed to participate with the 250x1?

Ive never had a 250 multi's - they were around when I was on a learner's and restricted licence, but I had a few 2-stroke's instead - I ride a V-twin 1000 four stroke now, but still lremember and appreciate the lightness, handling and power bands of the 250 2 stroke.

Have you multi guys tried the 2 smoker's ??

My first three bikes were sweet smelling two strokes. The RD350 was an awesome machine with a real power band not a power range, grief I am sounding really old.

I am currently trying to decide between a DT230 and a WR250 to go adventure riding.

Go the two strokes , they hav their down sides like lack of torque and peaky power, but they are light as anything and easy to perform maintainence on.

So technically they're not 250's are they?

    Mine is 250 x 3 + 50!
    (or 250 x 4 + 150 for my other bike)

    Being frustrated is disagreeable.

So who has the smallest then? Our 249cc 4s are about 62 and a quarter cc each cylinder. How small can a 4 stroke get?

    Plenty of 50cc four-strokes around.

On the other end, I think the VTX1800 would win the current 'biggest production cylinder' award. Didn't Honda say at one point that the VTX's piston speed was higher than the Fireblade's?

Can't be arsed getting engine specs and working it out.

    That'd be Kawasaki's new Vulcan 2000 now. 2 litre V-Twin.

And yes I probably am compensating
