    Well, you did ask...

    The ARC 24 Hour

The ARC 24 Hour has gained a reputation for being an honest 24 hour race and has often taken teams considerably longer. This year’s race is being designed so that all teams will finish between 22 and 26 hours. This will be achieved using rogaining principals.

The emphasis is on navigation and good teamwork as well as physical fitness.

    Disciplines include:

    Sea kayaking / Mountain Biking
    • Hill, Bush and River running / Trekking
    • Navigation and Rifle Shooting
    • Rope work and mine exploration
    • Mystery Activities (high adrenaline factor)

    Interested?

Last one I did was a 12 hour race and it took me 17 hours 50 minutes...nonstop racing...team of four who complete the entire race together.

I think you know someone you can call.

She might manage to talk me into it, too, you never know.

Your assistant hits the button when you cross the swim startline and hands you the watch to put on at bike transition.

Just as well Simon's a nice guy... but I still think he deserves to be thrown in the pool to celebrate Christmas
    Simon will be there tonight...

The frozen brown confectionary man speaks troof.

Gareth, the dude who owns the Chch franchise, is an old mate of mine. If any of you feel like doing a course, ping me, and I'll see if I can squeeze a deal out of him that applies at your location.

Oh. Didn't know that. Um... if there's no way of taking a watch on the swim, I guess you're stuffed, then.

far canal... sounds hard but fun... I'll bring the .22 and some high velocity ammo for the shooting bit

And the last one sounds fun - although it can't be what I'm hoping for...
