If I recall the chase this thread mentions earlier where the woman is injured, dad killed, etc, etc... the chase started not because the car was stolen, it was because the scrote driver was driving like an idiot (dangerous like...) in the first place.

Yeah, those dumb coppers should have just ignored him and let him create carnage elsewhere...I'm sure all the witnesses who saw the same manner of driving thing and looked at the copper next to them at the lights would have said, "Fair enough copper, don't chase him..."

Can see those headlines now too...

Well I see you have joined the Retarded Imbecile Industry. These are the morons who make excuses for those who break the law. Oh it's not his/her fault officer he comes from a violent home. Oh it's not his fault officer he/she was sexually abused. Oh it's not his/her fault officer HE WAS PUSHED BEYOND HIS DRIVEING CAPABILITY.
What utter fucking bullshit. This dipstick made decision to do a runner. He could have easily made the same decision and stopped. For Gods' sake Winj. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO POST SOME INTELLIGENT COMMENTS?

FFS. Whatever happened to personal responsibility.

One day one of these clowns is gonna take you out Winja. It will be interesting to see if you call for Police to stop people quicker then...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

O.K., good pont, but how were we to know he was a retard ( a WINJA spawn?) whos 'capability' was a little faster than a walking pace???
Pah, better off he was tapped on the head with a wheel-brace at birth eh?

He would have crashed on a set of roller blades - on a good day!!

So we are to ignore such driving antics and not try to stop him?

If we did that, and he then continued driving like a toss and crashed into your mum and sister around the corner while we did nothing, what then?

Patrick, see above. WINJA is a myth. (at best!) I mean such a person CAN'T really exist, right???

Watching the prison show on TV1 - a quick burst with a MP5 would save the country a fortune - and raise the level of the gene pool!
What a bunch of losers!! (o.k., it denigrates losers!)

Just get pissed off that such people use oxygen when better people could do with it!!

Funnily enough, Chicago (I think) banned Police pursuits outright. Anarchy has not taken over the streets, but quite a few less people die in Police pursuits.

See the thread a while ago about how fast most people have ridden at. A lot of people admitted that they'd had their bikes up to some pretty high speeds, some a lot higher than me. Okay, some might have done that at the track, but most I dare say were on public roads. No matter what horseshit you spout about "Oh but the conditions on that day on that road..." it was still a public road. Stock/kids/cars/trucks/tractors/gravel etc can all appear out of the blue.

I know that a runner can be successful without needing to do anything more than what you were already planning on doing before the cop arrived. A runner doesn't necessarily mean that you suddenly start running red lights, cutting blind corners, wheelies past schools at 3pm weekdays or playing chicken with oncoming traffic.

It makes economic sense to run most of the time.
