    Heh. I think about 80% of those have been the subject of Straight Dope columns in the past at some point...

    The Venus one is a bit silly, though... clockwise from what reference point? And do all the planets rotate through the same plane?

    And did people ever really drink vinegar with pearls dissolved in it, or did I just get that from 'Asterix and Cleopatra'?

    I think it would be possible even with normal printing papre so long as it is big enough. Because I think it depends on the ratio of the 'Surface area of the paper' : 'thikness of the paper' to be able to make 8 folds or more.
