Whats the cost roughly of a 2inch square tat? Mostly black with a little colour? I have a design I'm wanting to get for my thirtyith in Jan next year.

Probably about $100 -$150. Take your design to a tattoo artist and ask them - they'll give you a very close to accurate price and you'll be able to check out some of their work while you're at it. (and see how clean the place is)

For some unexplained reason I do not want add on ID.
Unlike yourself I resemble Mr Puniverse and now at my age the pictures would be very unattractive, unrecognisable mess. Thank god I resisted the temptation as a young impressionable seaman.
The murdering cannibals name rang a bell but I could not recall it until you enlightened us, I don't think he bares any resemblance to this "regular guy"

John, I meant no offence, I'd guess there's none taken either (older wiser an all that). I was tempted to remove the picture almost as soon as I posted it. I wanted show my tattoo in the context of this thread. Believe me there is/was no conceit in the sharing of this picture.

They normally price it on the time it will take......so the more detail the longer it takes, the pricier it gets.............don't skimp on a tat and shop around look at a few different places before you choose. The old adage you get what you pay for is very true.
