Unfortunately my skin colour is not like that of the Australian flag...
Green - for the grass they do not have, and
Yellow - for the streak down their back.

Just thought it might make an interesting image in ink...

I reckon it'd look real good. Even if you just got the black lines done. Ya wouldn't have to get it done big.

To negotiate the fee he'll pay for permanently advertising the site?

If a chick can get a fortune for non-permanent advertising on her cleavage, how much for a permanent advert?

Given some of the site thats been posted here of late do ya really want more of 'em?
A cynical view I suppose - I reckon it'd look bloody good on skin without the yellow background.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Some people wear their tat's well, and others don't. I like well planned out tat's that look good, but over 95% of things I see I would not like put on me. What I have planned, for some time in the distant future, is a blue worm dragon on my back with the wings over each of my sholderblades. Complettly coverable and discrete. Appearances are the first thing we notice about someone, most people don't notice my tounge piercing, let alone know about the other 3 they can't see.
Speed limits are just a suggestion, like pants.

FWIW Co-pilot and I went and checked out Dermagraphics in Ponsonby based on good reports from KB'ers.

Artists, I know, but we're completely underwhelmed by the place. Hasn't done the things he said he would and can't even return a phone call. NEXT!

Got my first tattoo done just before Christmas at the age of 45. It's our family crest (a wolf 'rampant' against an oak tree). It is relevant to me as a person so I know I'll never grow out of it.
A lot of my friends had work done on them 25 years back and I'm not so sure that they're all without regrets now.

The chap (can't remember his name but he was the only one who was able to design my Maori X Celtic design there) was pretty good at what he did. IMHO.
The tattoo has taken really well and was honestly exactly what I had envisioned.

The history of tattoos is an interesting subject. From tribal marks denoting rank, clan, totem etc to signafying criminal history as do the Russian tattoos.

In western society tattoos have always been an expression of rebelion. Both the Greeks and Romans considered the tattoo a disfigurment of the body and it is from this that tattoos are not accepted within the social parameters of western society. The first Romans to be tattooed were the solders stationed in Briton and Gaul. It is thought that they copied the Romanised Celts who had tattooes as part of their culture denoting clan etc.

The body 'armour' of the Yakuza is direct result of tattooing as a form of punishment which replaced the amputation of nose and ears. It was a slap in the face of the Shogun and it is now associated with criminals as indeed is the Russian tattoo.

The west has been primarily concerned with decorative images unlike the russian in which the tattoo denotes his standing in the criminal community.

There's only been one that I like. This is full armour tattoo. Now if I can get my daughter to show me how to work our scanner and all that etc I'll try and post it in the next day or two.
