I reckon it's more North - North West of Queenstown. First you go westish then Northish from Queenstown to find Glenorchy. I like to ride there via the West coast and Hasst. Usually leave home Friday morning and either camp some where on the way or arrive in the dark (done both). I have other friends who go straight there Friday and do Haast staying near Fox Glacier on the way home. It's easier for me to have Friday off work than Monday so I go Straight home Sunday.

Sounds good. We could meet up with Dangerous, Rashika, TonyB, Biff, OAB, R1Aaron and the rest.

Don't want to be picky but it's "North" of Queenstown! Typo??

Shit fellas, I got better than I deserve with Ms.Pillion. Told her about the rally and not only did she tell me that she wants to come, despite my worrying about her lasting the distance, she will not let me not let her pay half the costs.

This one is definately a keeper.

Waylander, just love you signature - it's SO true eh?

Loved some of the C&W songs while in the US - 'Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off' and 'We're Comin' to Your City' etc - good for singing along to while covering 100's of miles of interstate......

Won't be able to make it. Work is cutting back heaps of hours and after the 17th, it's closed down till early January. That with christmas coming there is no way I'll be able to save the money for this rally. And the bike will need new tyres before I can take it that kind of distance.

Will be trying for the March Hare though so still wanna meet up with you south island buggers.

    Sorry guys.
