    NZ Police CommCens Alert 10:00 26-11-2005 North Shore Waitekere Rodney

    Location of incident: Rodney, North Auckland

    Incident Type: Hail storm

    Weather conditions:

    Police have received numerous reports from the Rodney area relating to flash flooding, which is causing traffic problems.

    Reports of hail in Warkworth, Wellsford area, with an extremely heavy fall in the Kaiwaka area. This has made driving very dangerous and motorists are asked to take care.

    According to the traffic report on the radio there has been a huge slip up at Kaiwaka. The road is totally blocked.

    Please all take care out there on your bikes!!
