    Cheap Honda SP1 HRC

    So whataya think it'll cost to get this beast repainted in black & red, lights & electrics fitted, tyres replaced, etc, for road use? :spudbn:

    Alot, I doubt it has the necessary paperwork to get road legal in nz, nice bike though. Don't really think its worth anyone buying. For that money someone can get a season old 600 which would be faster.

    you'll never get a VIN for it i'd say.
    that's why it's cheap.
    there was a new sp1 racer on trademe for about 8k 3 months back.

    $75,000 for $12,000 - Sounds too good to be true.

    But it's definitely worth checking out.

    Why black and red?? Those castrol colours look mint - just buy another set of leathers dammit

    Cos IMO black is the best looking colour and red is the fastest! Wasn't thinking about my leathers clashing at all, honest I wasn't... I do very much like the attached colour schemes though...

    Yup, but that one was the basic racer - basically a road sp1 with the wire harness removed, aprovic exhaust and intake flapper removed... this one is the full racer with lots more goodies.....

    why would one never get VIN for it? just wondering...

    You still can...but expensive cause the bike doesnt have any factory plates or numbers on it etc....
