You mean someone actually paid money for them, or did you have to give 'em away? May look horrid on a Bluebird, Redbird, or Greybird, but the Blackbird makes any gayly coloured rider look respectable!

Jokes aside, from reading the add the owner looks like a true enthusiast who loves his machines = Very good sign

I think a trip down to tauranga is very much in order.

This would have to be the ultimate real world bike for sale:

Oh - and another reason to go to Tauranga

The ultimate would be that and either of these - K5 & Raven (not TM sales but), i think the gixxer is the Bees Knees! Wouldn't wanna ride any of them on a tour though...

Riding position is too racey and I end up cramping in my legs after being on them for a loooooong stretch (granted I havn't ridden any of the 3 bikes in question, but I just know ok)...I had to literally get off and stretch sometimes!

Take the SP for a spin up 16 then make an informed decision

Sorry, I have ridden Marmoots SP1 down 16 for about 10 mins, he rode my Bird, choice bikes but I definately felt the decrease in power under my 1100, would be hard for me to step back in power now. The SP1 of this thread however, would kick some serious butt methinks.

yes the bike in question would be fun...the offer still stands tho as a full fang up 16 as you would need a few k's to appreciate the corners...but i undertand the drop in power...each to their own as if yr havin fun who cares

I know, and please don't get me wrong - i could have a lot of fun on an SP1, that's fer sure juzzer!

Might take you up on that offer after the dreaded road works up 16 are smoothed over. May take months? You'd hope they would sort that road out b4 Christmas!

Have you ever ridden a B/Bird?
