    Accessories Etc

Just a quick note - having recently lost a footpeg from an altercation with a car - I went in pursuit of a new one. The lovely chaps at Honda had one ready for me asap - at a measely $187 +Gst excluding hero blob which was another $16 + GST - nice - NOTE THIS IS FOR ONE FOOTPEG - NOT THE WHOLE REARSET OR A PAIR - BUT ONE PEG!!

I went to www.motrax.co.uk and sourced Top Block after market pegs for $110 plus $15 postage - arrived 9 days later sweet as a nut.

When looking for new accessories or replacement parts for OEM parts - don't forget to look offshore.

We don't get many accessories in NZ and those we do get are priced too bloody high or are poor quality. I recommend Motrax - I also got a Double Bubble Tinted Screen from the UK last year - which arrived in 2 weeks and was half the price of any NZ equivilent..

Screen was $135 landed to my door......so not bad really.

It gets even cheaper if you buy with a mate as the postage becomes less.

There's always the states too who have good deals also, like kneedraggers etc. at current prices the same windscreen would cost $144 before shipping from motopom.com.

When I lost one of my pegs, I just found the piece and brought it to a welding company. Only cost me $10 for aluminium weld, and 15 minutes wait.

What company did you purchase the doulble bubble screen from in the UK ??
I guess they would be a little cheeper now ,.. with our dollar up a little.

Do you like the difference that the screen made??

Actually I didn't - the screen was okay - but I prefer the low tinted screen I am running on it now.
