No, I'd take a mint ZXR over a mint CBR anyday.

I was just admiring the chaps riding - good lines and wondering if I can get some of my confidence back to what I was like a few months ago......

Cos they are FAR more reliable and I managed to find a nice, genuine one in time for the track day. There were no decent ZXR's anywhere for sale. CBR's are equally fast - but need more concentration as they have pretty much zero torque. ZXR's I feel have a much more stable front end.

I'll get back to my old self with a bit more practice, summers coming right??

No, summer is here actually. Technically started on the 1st December.

Just work on those following distances and corner passing maneuvers, and you'll be schweet!

I'm actually pretty confident with my passing maneuvers, it just looks a bit close but I am in full control.

What I need to sort is my stupid tendency to stand up inbetween right handers and my late/over braking in corners.... and general stupid cornering......

So does he not like corners so much that he has to cut them? I thought peaple thought straight roads were boring.

same thing with these two aswell.

They do, and they are boring.

I guess when it comes to twisty bits of road like in the pics, you sometimes come to a section where you have a hundred or so metres visibility through the twisty section and just don't see the point of dogmatically staying to the left of the centre line...in a sense the whole road becomes yours during that enjoyable moment of riding! (not advocating dangerous driving here btw)
