Coro Loop sunday 27th 10:30 autobahn - medium pace

Ok I'm thinking its going to be a good day to do the loop should the weather stay good.

27th (Sunday) Meeting at 10:30 at the Autobahn, leaving 11:00 or as early as you guys can meet. Don't be fashionably late in true KBR style or we might just ditch ya.

Faster guys up front to lead the way and the slower or newer guys at the back. I can be a rear marker with a fluro (I can also provide one if someone else wants to do it). I won't be breaking the speed limit on the straights but in the twisties it's all on.

I'm trying to set this ride up to go slowly through the populated areas (without revving the shit outta your engines) around the loop, so we don't get any undue police attention to what should be a nice ride, and also to not make it a target point in the future.

For people who haven't done the loop, overtaking cages etc in some sections can be a pain but don't take chances. If someone is right up your arse (with a bike) move over on the straight and let them pass.

I don't know how to set up the 'who's coming' thing yet but i'll go have a read to find out.

Please post your interest and any suggestions.

    -Tristan

Go past papakura offramp and it is that large BP service station a km or so down the road with solar panels on the roof and whole lot of cafes. Large truck stop really, situated on a downhill section towards the bombay hills.

usually less than 2 hours to Kopu.. an hour and a bit to coromandle... stop an hour for lunch and then perhaps 2 hours to Kopu or Waihi again... and then 3 hours back.

So expect it to be an entire day... unless tristank want to start earlier... 10 is a late start as it is... and 11 is a very late start for a summers day
