    Thumbs up TYRE WARMERS.

Thinking of getting tyre warmers for the 400. Anybody have any for sale or have some good contacts. Cheers Torque.

they stock and distribute tyre warmers...ring around your local bike shops and get a couple of quotes for the same warmers....you'll find they may differ from shop to shop...

can someone tell me WHY you feel the need for tyre warmers???
Fuck guys save ya moolah and if ya wanna spend it --upgrade ya suspension. $500 ish bucks thrown at ya shocks will go a long way to getting better lap times at your level of development.
TS blew up his warmers --oops --and I aint got any --neither does stu dawe
doesn't slow us down does it ???
    Sorry to rant

On a 400cc bike, tyre warmers are only applicabile for wet days... When its dry, you can go pretty hard after one warm up lap...

So what you guys are saying is no one needs tyre warmers!??
Used properly they are the bizz!!
Even when you come off the track, you put em on (without turning them on!), It helps to stop the tyres from turning blue. In which case the tyre is fucked.
One warm up lap is not enough to get tyres up to temp.

It also comes into mind over matter. It helps us mortals feel confident on the first lap, instead of worrying about grip.

sorry SB but thats just BS -
Im NOT saying that Wamers aren't fantastic and needed once you reach a certain level of riding.-say when a fraction of a seconds between winning and losing
What i am saying is that at Torques level of riding his money is much better spent on developing his suspension/drivetrain.--(all in my opinion BTW)
Tyre warmers are just another thing to worry about.
with the warmers comes generators -noise /distraction
Mind you--a generator means you can whip up a nice cuppa tea between races i spose
