    The new phenomenon

Anyone else noticing the increasing amount of people using quotes as signatures? To open up a can of worms, who was the first one to use a quote as a sig?
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Isn't that like saying "I'm original by using someone else's wit"?
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Life is like a shit sandwich, the more bread you use the more shit you get.

Life is like a bowl of cherries, pips lying everywhere.

"There are three types of lies - lies, damn lies, and statistics." - Variously attributed to Benjamin Disraeli, Alfred Marshall, Mark Twain and many other dead people.

I think so... A lot of the others are f(*#^$g politicians and they are known to steal everything from the great minds without giving due credit... I'll need to do more research to know for certain though... The general census from most people I've talked to in science and engineering is that it's originally from Einstein. (But I don't know that many people...)

The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
