Hmmm let me think steel 20ltr kegs were abundant, so was a huge 600kw boiler so ther was ample hot water, and there was dry ice on tap....
wonder what happens when you mix the three?

    Alcohol

    As far as I know............

Both Custard and myself have gone to the last 2 together (Custard is a veteran - 6 times in a row.... what a legend!) and even tho people may think there is a Alcohol ban - supposedly there isn't because it is a charity night (people donate a gold coin each year - if they wish to...) the cops turn a blind eye to the drinking...

As long as you don't flaunt it and throw bottles around or get soooooo horribly drunk that we really do cart you off in the wheelbarrow, then drinking is ok.

My theory is BE DESCRETE........ and blend in with all the other drunks of the night. :hbd:

I would agree with Qkchk. We have done them from 1995 to 2002. Provided you don't do anything stupid , all is well.

I'm sure that a bunch of subtle KBers can blend in to the point of invisibility.

So how will we met up guys/gals? Shall we converge to a certain spot down there or should we have a meeting point elsewhere - like Wendys/BK or ? . Once we are there it will be rather difficult to locate one-another amongst 100,000+ people. Has anyone got a KB flag?

Arrow Ok we have come up with a plan.........

Since we will heading down @ 4pm we figured it would be easier just to txt us to find out where we are all sittin...... Custards Ph no: 021 878755. We are hoping to get a front - middle seating area. Things to consider:

    A blanket and/or fold-up chair :spudguita
Your own booze or orange juice (2x bottles of bubbles per person we calculated or a six pack...)
Food - Bring you own food unless you fancy lining up for hours on end to by a $5 hotdog.... A picnic basket is the ideal thing. Salmon, cheeseboard with crackers, sandwiches etc....
Santa hat or glow-in-the-dark sticks (everyone has one each year - do you want to feel left out?)

    Don't bring:
Any expensive gear - jewellery, cd/mp3 players, wallets, cameras etc. (We had a bad experience last year, a group of shit-heads were targetting drunk/unattentive people and were ripping them off right under their noses!) If we have a good sized group; more drink, more food and more security!

    Hi all

Sorry Rhino and I won't be able to make it as planned. I have sprained my left ankle rather badly on the dance floor last night at my work Christmas do. :slap: I didn't even somersault this time!!

Hope you all enjoy the night and have a glass of wine for us!!

Here's an update on Scorpygirl's ankle. We went to the doctor this morning and she wasn't sure if it was broken or not, so sent us off to get xrays.

3 and a half hours later we get the results and find that it isn't broken, so we go home and I strap it with a crepe bandage.

That and the Panadol seem to be doing the trick at the moment. We have our Ulysses Xmas do tomorrrow and we will be travelling in the cage, as she can't get a boot on or get on the 'Wing.:slap:

She is a worry (but of small stature.)
