    Arrow Coromandel Ride Saturday 10/12/05

Our resident Aussie KiwiBiker *Zadok* will be in New Zealand in a few weeks time and is keen to ride around the Loop on the Saturday with me and several other keen KBers. We invite you to join us too if you wish.

    Auckland riders meet:
    Autobahn, Papakura
    9.00am, leaving 9.15am sharp.

    Hamilton/Tauranga riders meet:
    Kopu Service Station
    10.00 - 10.15am

The plan is to head off together from Kopu, around the Loop clockwise and stop at Whitianga for lunch, then continue round and back home. Depending on the weather and time I may detour down to Whangamata/Waihi and back to Aks that way.

    See you there!

There is a thread on KiwiBiker that discusses what weekend days Kbers prefer to ride on, I think Sunday was more popular. In this case we have decided to go Saturday, being fully aware of the Sunday Loop ride, because it's more convenient for some of us. Has nothing to do with being anti-social I assure you...well maybee a tad.

    Missed that thread.

I'd actually prefer the Saturday, but that weekend I've got a family thing on, otherwise I'd go Saturday rather than Sunday.

Zadok has arrived into the country - all bikers beware of a forward friendly bloke wearing a bright yellow t-shirt with a funny accent who may approach you and say geeday cobber!

Looking forward to this weekend, let's hope all this crap weather blows over by then.

Never done the Coromandel on 2 wheels, What time leaving Tauranga? Meeting here before you go or just gathering at Kopu?

Not sure about family comitments, but I'm looking into it.

Would love to meet up with any Tauranga K.B's for ride through to Kopu. I'm not too far from the road out of town that way, so if you would like to meet where I'm staying, or at the B.P Summit, I'm happy. I intend leaving about 8am, as I want to give myself plenty of time to get there and take a few pics along the way. P.M me please.
