    One of these you mean This was under the bridge in the pics I posted earlier. I saw a live one bouncing up the hill about 100m down the road from here on the way back from the ride at around 7pm that evening

    Yep thats him, sitting on 120kms on a GSX750 about 7-8pm. and out of no where Wally bounced 5 metres in front of my headlight beam, from one side of the road to the other...lucky miss

    I havent heard of this before, anyone else spotted one on the road?

    yeah, they've been around waimate/waiho (sp?) forks (the old rally site for years.
    Always give you a fright tho, seeing these baby aus imports hanging around....kinda cute tho they are, the Wallabies .

    Now what were you doing on a old zookie when you have the awesome VFR vetec? great bikes yet to ride one tho

    Cant beleive ya never knew about the Roo's down south, I've never seen one yet and thought they were a myth for many a year.
    Its suprising just what is hiding in the bush in NZ, trap door's & 150mm long centerpeads.
