As soon as tex but I don't the next amcc meeting is till next year now init? And I'm not worried about that froggy, gotta start somewhere. And there's bound to be a book on it, I know how roll centres for cars work, not sure what the equivalent is on a bike but I'll get some reading done and find out.

reffering to the pic before of the fxr start,

they can get a really good start off the line because they have a very low first gear and a lot of torque but after about third gear on a standard i was getting toasted down the straight.

they are not the perfect bucket ( a honda CBR150RR from tailand fills that gap) but pretty damn close IMO

i think you know who i am Dangerous. yes i did spend some time on my arse last weekend only to test the the new leathers are up to the task . Now they look like real race leathers. Four stroke honda singles all the way, although a FXR could be on the cards, waiting to see how Tony's goes next season.

    road going fxr

I rode a stock fxr on the road today, they dont seem to fast but its hard to tell dodging cars on a busy street. It only seemed to produce power after 9k. Must admit it would be my choice of rides for 2hr endurance races . Your being abit harsh on Dangerous, Gav that only means i could be one of 10-15 riders. Im thinking of posting a photo of the back of me and my bike for a clue (it would have to be a small photo though) .

    Damn that looks like fun.

Conceptual development on the frame has begun, cause I'm bored, but it's movin' pretty slowly because I have nothing to measure the FXR bits with just now. In a week or so though I should have somethin' worthy of construction, prime for moving all the FXR parts onto. Watch this space.

I'll never fit all 2 & 3/4 of these bikes at my house now, have to move by end of the month I'm told cause owner is moving back to NZ, and going to a smaller venue. So thinking I'll sell the NSR, keep it's seized engine (only seized one cylinder though) and see if I can do something with that, sleeve down to 100cc I'm told, and just a few frame mods. Or there's an AR50 on trademe that looks like fun.

You need the FXR to improve your power to weight ratio

The next generation of 4 stroke Suzuki is already on the drawing board (we know what the last problem was) and this will finish races without blowing up and in front of your Honda
