    You could try

    http://www.motorcyclebooks.com/suzkat600gs.html

    Only USD$20

Darn sight less than I paid for my service manual for my FZR750
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Duckman, Wellington public libraries have a lot of Haynes bike manuals, prob the same in Auckland. Most are reference only (+ you can copy parts) but you can borrow some. Maybe sort you out while you are waiting?
The more you know the less you need

If you can't find one at the library, I have a Haynes manual covering GSX-R750 & 1100 from '85 to '92 and can email you sections of interest if needed.

Aye, Haynes do one for GSXR's (600, 750 & 1100) from '85-'90, plus some models of Katanas in a Haynes. Thye are usually radily available (ie in stock) at places like tech books in New Market. I did have one, but sold it with the '88...
