who here is honestly sick of those nutters that spend all their money on their crappy japanese cars? i just drove through christchurch city and honestly, every second car had 17 inch chromes and was lowered and contained a pimply teenage guy tryin to make himself seem cool with his huge muffler and blow off valve. i'm totally against boy racers for the following reasons:

1. they have no taste in cars

2. the crap cars they choose (civics, skylines, you know the type) are ruined by the enormous gauges and neon lights and other plastic crap they stick on them

3. the mufflers make them sound fast and powerful when in reality they are driving 1.2 litre mazdas

4. none of them can drive properly!!!

5. im absolutely sick of hearing them come down my street at night playing gangster rap

and finally,

6. one of them is dating my sister.... noooo....

anyone agree???

Cos she will be needing them soon if she hangs around in the car a lot..
What with the motor/exhaust reving the guts out and then the sterio blaring out.... she will soon be deaf or suffer with tinnitus.

Personally - I'd put my money on cooking the brakes and running off the end of the straight...

Got to be good for a laugh (and reminding him the car might look good - in his eyes - but it's not too flash where and when it counts)

the guy has a '97 civic for god's sake

and its ony 1.8 litre
he told me he wants to have black mags and black paint so it could be "stealth"

WTF?????
bit of a shame that he's twice my size

Somewhere on a car forum there is a thread about bikers wearing full leathers thinking they are 'Valentino Biaggi'. Time to get over it.

right so its a 1.6. and pretty sure its not v-tec. o well. you're probably right bandit, i suppose they have their own culture, we have our own culture, as long as my sis doesn't become one i'll be ok with it!!!

either they get huge loans out, or live with their parents while working full time at building or panel beating apprenticeships and spend all their money on their car. its crazy!!

Finance, finance and more finance. Sure there are the exceptions that have saved up and done the hard work themselves, but for the majority it's a simple finance application.
