    Hi from Sunny B.O.P

    HI all.
Just registered to use this site after keeping an eye on it for a week or two.
Had 12 years "Between bikes" and am loving being back on two wheels.
Been in Tauranga for the last couple of years, but a Mainlander at heart.
Looking forward to making a trip south at some stage to cruise some of the Central roads (Lindis, Crown Range, Kawarau Gorge). Roads I traveled on 4 wheels and thought would be good on two (straight enough to be fast, bendy enough to be interesting).

Welcome to the site and more importantly back to freedom

Nelson was my hometown, before shifting to Tauranga about 12 years ago

Welcome to K.B mate. I'll be over your way in a couple of weeks, so will be up for a ride. Watch out for the upcoming rides thread.

    Belated welcomes
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Ahhh the Southern roads, how I miss them!! Used to do the loop - go from CHCH to Hokitika, down the west coast, Haast Pass and across to Wanaka, Queenstown, back up the East Coast (boring if you stick to the main drag, so inland excursions a must). Great to hear you're back on two wheels after a wee holiday...just got back on two myself last year, loving every minute of it!
    Welcome to the site.
