Nah, I think it's just past your nap time. You'll need a proper nights sleep if you're going to have any chance of controlling that crusier of yours tomorrow.

Fuck off, that's the best part. Hell I have even busted one on purpose with my hand (no that really was dangerous) But he was a homo like you and had been boasting to me a week or two earlier about how he likes cutting bikers off and thought all lane splitters should be run over. I had told him at the time, that if I saw him misbehave on the road I would dent his roof. However, the mirror seemed a safer option at the time (though absolutely wasn't a clever idea). Yes! He misbehaved when he squeezed up enough (he thought) to stop me from splitting past him and the car next to him swerved over to avoid being hit.

    Any how... Fuck you.

That isn't my overriding objective and it is more than a tad arrogant of you to presume that it is standard that you can inflict on and measure others by.

Hang on. That is part of what I enjoy about riding (ya know.. not being a pussy). Anyhow, I think that you have an overinflated opinion of your opinions. So fuck you too.

After reading many pages of this somewhat entertaining "conversation" I cant help but see some slight irony with your signature Skippa1 ...

Anyway.... Whats this splitting lane stuff you talk of... You should relocate south.... Traffic... What is this traffic you talk of.

But you should have all had you Weebix by now so time you got back to the shit slinging....

This thread is still going? Have we even talked yet about the proper wave while splitting?

any tips on how to take out mirrors as I find even on a BMW with panniers I can't manage it.... and for some reason cars just seem to get out of the way....maybe its the crashbars on the jugs ( cylinders not milk)
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Try lane splitting between the lanes of cars that are next to each other. Riding in the middle of 3 lanes doesn't count

I'm too busy to read the whole thread atm, so here's my opinion (sorry if it's only restating what others have already said):

I filter and lane split but only if I'm absolutely confident I can do it without causing damage to anyone else. If in any doubt I will sit in the lane and wait like others. Yeah sure there will be riders out there who will say "what the hell are you doing on a bike if you ain't prepared to take advantage of the benefits it offers, such as threading your way through slowpoke traffic". My response is "so what". My decision to sit in a lane, like a car, ain't got anything to do with anyone else's opinion. It's also twists my titties when other riders come up behind me while I'm splitting and effectively force me back into a lane 'cos I'm not going fast enough for them. Diddums.

At the end of the day, whether you split or not, is up to you. Your decision to go ahead and do it also means the responsibility of any damage you might inflict is also on your shoulders.

Be your own rider. Split or filter when you feel ready to do so rather than feeling pressured to do it "cause your a biker and should be able to do it".
