    Arrow Westpac Ride

    WestPac Ride

    Hi fellow KBers,

I have just updated the Calendar with details of the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust Ride (Westpac Ride, as some call it.)

The ride is on 12 February 2006.
Departing from the NZ Bloodstock Centre as usual.

    Departure time is 11 am.

    CYA there.

Keep the shiny side upright, Rhino.

Also added to the Calendar is The Wanganui Toy Run on 11 December 2005 (next Sunday.) If you are in the area, turn up at the Race Course at 12pm. The ride departs at 1pm.

Finally the 21st annual Cambridge to Hamilton Child cancer Toy Run is being held on Saturday March 19 2006. This is the largest Toy run in NZ, and a great experience.
Keep the shiny side upright, Rhino.

Last year we all met up at the Autobarn could do the same again this year
we could be there before 10am so we will leave together just after 10.
Then there is still time to view all the bikes assembling.

what I thought about thou is that if we meet up at the autoban. dont we have to go down turn around and go back up again?
what we COULD do is use the flag at the event? I mean thats what its for no?

That would only work if everyone arrived at the same time as the bikes are lined up ready for the start as one gets there, late comers will be farther back. Would be OK to meet and greet at the flag then assemble at the end of the run together if one wants to as there is more room to do so.

Take the Papakura(Karaka) off ramp head west, first left into Hinau Rd.
