So What About AFTER the Westpac?

Hey it always bugs me - that the pre-ride atmosphere is great with everyone eyeing up everyone and his bike - OK - and then the ride is awesome - and then at AUT it's like - OK Folks, here's the announcements, here's the cheque, thanks to our Sponsors, and

    Good Bye,

    Everyone please go away now.........

    It's always an Anticlimax.

Anyone going to a nice place afterwards ?

    Puhoi Pub ?
    Waiake Beach Music Festival?
The Pukekohe Side Car and Vintage Bikes meet ?

    Suggestions welcome....

Everything is always okay in the end.
If it's not, then it's not The End.

Just got back to my HQ - great ride, HEEEEEEAPS of bike to ogle, and now me, SlashWylde and a few others are off to Kaiaua for fish n chips on the beach. Will rack up a few k's today, but hey, my tyres aren't going to just remove their tread by sitting in the gargre!

    Lost a cylinder!

Nice sight, pity I lost a fucken cylinder riding in there, just past the East Tamaki turn off. You lot would of seen a Red Hyosung (beautiful thing, you would of noticed it for sure) on the side of the road shinning in the sun.

Crap in the fuel jets or some along those lines. The AA guy was a rider and the towie was one too, hows that for luck? Had a good chat to the towie all the way home.

I saw some homo on a scraped up 250 waiving, kinda looked like tristans bike!!

Hope you get you wheels going again soon.

Twas was a good ride - Pity it was to slow for what I expected - Bike was just about in the red by the time we go there. Had to laugh at some of the spectators and the on coming traffic at times. Anyone know what happened to that kid who was on the side of the road who looked hurt (Fallen Off??)
Now all we have to do is see if we get on TV tonight.

An awesome day and thanks to all Kbers who turned up and supported the charity ride. The ride was definitely much slower down the motorway than in previous years - which on a hot day like today was not the best for bikes or riders!!! We sold all the T-shirts and took a stack of orders for badges. Seeing the chopper again this year was great too.

    Well done to everyone!!!

Nah he didn't fall off but his foot slipped of the peg and hurt himself on the wheel, He walked away allright, although with a limp. He's off to the doc. Haven't heard anything after that yet.
Let's hope that's the only mishap for the day.
