    WANTED: 04-R1

Wanted 04 (or 05 perhaps) R1. Cash buyer.
I am looking for a good, clean respectable R1.
If you have anything that fits the bill and you are keen to move up in the build year stakes and looking for that new 2006 bike or just want something else, gives a yell.
Low Km's and a bit of bolted-on fruit would never go amiss,

PM, me and I will pass on my contact details

    Cheers
    Feral

    hey there mate,

Yep sold it. The bloke who bought it just thought it was fantastic. Couldn't stop smilling after riding it and said - this is the bike for me. i just said: good choice man. I am happy 'cause I know he will like it and have a ball on it.

Yep - I would be up for one of the limited 1,000 new R1 SP's - the bank manager might not be tho... what do they RRP for at anyrate?? I am not too sure, but i would imagine you would need to take an extra big bucket full of lose shrapnel along to the dealer if you wanted to pick one of those sexy beasts up. Nice wheels - ohh, and those suspenders - sweet.

There is a CBR in sportszone at the mo. Red & black. can't remember the k's put looked pretty tidy - had done easy work by the looks of it. looks like it is on special - a grand off.
Whats a black one worth... pm me if you like.

A local guy would consider selling his 04 Yamaha (needs money for business and other stuff etc etc ). 5,500k and well looked after.

We got chatting about price. i haven't got to much of a guide really as to what is the going rate (apart from about 3-4 in the Bike trader at the mo - dealers listed - and they seem a tad pricy to me)

Anyone out there, picked one up lately???? What sort of price bracket?
Just interested really, let us know, if its no great secret. (pm me otherwise)

    Cheers all

    Feral

PS Toddy - hope to see you at the Woodstock rally man..
PPS hows that rear Rennsport - feck#d yet??

There's a minter at TSS at the mo with rearsets and pipes.

I'm not sure what he wants for it; I think they're selling on behalf.

Give Fergus a call, but be sure to beat him down. 04-569 3989.

    Cheers.

    Cheers Bartman & dss3

dss3: I saw your post in that blue R1 advert on this site, it sounded like you got yours for a sharp price. I would be happy with that - I will keep hunting.

Bartman - cheers, I saw that TSS had a 04 grey/silver one advertised, had some sick looking arrow full system on it. looked real sweet. But that was a couple months ago in the bikemart. I haven't seen it in the latest edition. From memory they wanted $19,800 for it...
I will give Fergus a ring tho

Cheers - i will let you know how the search goes

Nice man, definitly recommend doing the exhaust mod from the site, think I posted about it on here somewhere. Also then you can change the bike to run a bit richer on the dash, I noticed then difference in the midrange a bit, but most importantly it sounds heaps better!
