We could make it mandatory that all newbies aren't allowed to come up with their own handles, unless they choose really inspired first up. We could name them all Dumb-arse(1) etc until they had completed 50 worthy posts and then there could be a naming competition. Of course some Dumb-arses may get 5,000 posts up before they meet the qualifying standard of "50 worthy posts"...
