Bummer About you, the bike and the ride.

Glad that you got away kinda OK (meaning, at least your alive). Any details about the accident?

I'll organise a night blast one day when I get some decent lighting upgrades on my bike.

Well i am back from sleeping the day way.

went to pick up my biuke. firstthing my mat said whe he saw it was

Dude you must have balls of steel.. there is a hugh dent in the 1/4 of the tank right abotu where i would of hit the tank..

the front wheelt si buckled in two places.

i guees where the bike hit the car and the engine frame.

the frame is dented and the exhaust is dented two

the handel bars are angled forward like a pair of bull bars. the front headlight hosuing is pushed way back a nd my bike kyyt is actually curved now, still truns the bike on.

well it seems that i hav eto go to the hsopital fracture clinic in a w3eeks time if the hospital takes my cast off ill get the gsxr250 going and ill rtide again. if nto and they put a new cast on ill ask teh to make it so i can use a throttle and ill ride out with you guys.

strange thing was when i woke up one of my handcuff sets atacehd to my jeans looked liek they ahd been used. hmm i wonder if they are interested in a little tandem riding.

well whe nthey say you have been bucked by the horseyou jsut get right back on and ride em.

if any one has a digital camera and are in tauaranga i would be able to post a pic of the bike.

Glad to hear you are healing Kasper. Good luck getting the GSXR250 (good little bikes those) up and running.
Tried to post that notice reusk to Dawn, but can not find any of the posts I did on Sunday morning (not even the new thread)! There seems to be a phantom Kiwi Biker Forum stuck in a different time zone (or a parallel universe), because when I logged on it still had me on the VFR not the CBR! Go figure!

Also pleased you got away without even more serious injuries - bad enough as it is. Use a Dawn to Dusk ride as a test and then enter for the Grand Challenge 1000 miles in 24 hours ride in October. There's all sorts of different capacity machines on that.

Mid October each year - starts and finishes at a camping ground in Turangi, but the Rusty Nuts Motorcycle Club varies the route each year. The distance is 1600km (1000 miles) and you have 24 hours to complete it in. It's not a race, just a battle with what's in your head!

You can find info and probably an entry form on http://www.rustynuts.co.nz/

The attachment is my own personal experience of the ride last year. You learn more about yourself and your machine in 24 hours on that ride than a whole year of normal riding.

    Regards

    Geoff
