to give excuse to his failings - People are reluctent in this day and age to take responsibility for themselves. It is always the government should, the maoris should not, somebody should do something, Ill sue MacDonalds because I ate their food.

BUt by far the worst are the zealots of all sides and creeds who claim to act for and on behalf of Gods of all types. For they can excuse or justify anything and everything on some "thing" which only they can see.

Stand up and be a man not a puppet.

And this Zed is prime example of part of the reason I stopped going to church & am not a christian anymore. :disapint: Too much narrow minded blatant hatred of those who are outside what the christian church believes.

Very dissapointing to see someone who is meant to be "full of the love of God" pointing a judgemental finger, name calling & speaking hell fire & brimstone down on another human being and then jusifying it though using bible verses.

How about we think about how many wars have been started because of religion???? I am a firm believer in people believing and having the right to belive in their belief (man that sounds weird) But i am also a firm believer that you should not impose beliefs on people that do not believe in your belief (Christians are renouned for it, just look at the Crusades, and Missionaries that go to colonies)

(No offence meant at any one who is religious)

I joined this forum to discuss bikes. While this particular thread was logged under "Off Topic" too often I feel that I'm being preached to. Getting more than a little sick of it and will probably ultimately turn me off coming in here.

I've belonged to a motorsport forum for a couple of years and can honestly say not once has religion entered into any threads.

I don't have any religion based beliefs. I just get on with enjoying my life, without being told how to live my life. That's not to say I live a dodgy lifestyle, far from it. I have to agree with Two Smoker (even if he sounds like the Aussie comedians interviewing Juan Pablo Montoya - Juan, one, won!).

So...how's the scooter do'in DebK? Those things intreege me....just love that wierd front end,but they are quite long in the wheelbase,does this help stabalise the bike? Scooters have small wheels and a short wheelbase,both are often blamed for the poor handling,I just wonder how they do in real life. (I like scooter handling,it's different,so I'm into it)

I used to go to that forum,but lost the URL when I changed computers.

I have a very good friend who you Zed call 'scum' She may be a X junkie and a X whore going from the streets in ChCh to the top whore houses in Auckland.
You Zed do not know why she got court up in that life style, it is in my mind a very sad tail one that you will never understand one that I still have trouble understanding one that the avarage person would never think actually happens in real life.

If you don't like what I say or believe Celtic then there are 2 real simple things you should do:

1. Add me to your ignore list (you will never be bothered by what I say again)

2. Don't read the threads about God.

I stayed away from your filthy joke thread so you should do the same with things that offend you!

Same goes with you DebK. I don't want you leaving KB because you are turned off by the "preaching"- just ignore me and don't read the threads with God in the title!

Well,I started the thread,with no intention of politics or religion - although I'd be happy if someone spoke about their personality with a political or religious bent,but I'm not too happy to see it turning into a ''bad'' thread.I don't talk about religion and seldon on politics,neither interest me - I just like bikes...but they bring a lot of other stuff of our lives into it.

This preaching has gotta stop....or we will all wander off elsewhere.

Hey Zed,
This wasn't a religious thread to start off with and I believe in this case you started the ball rolling by name calling, also I posted a caution on the dirty jokes thread so that others had the option of not reading if they didn't want to.

Anyway I think you & I can finish our discussion off the public threads so that others don't have to get offended by what either of us may post.
