Nearly got myself mugged 3 weeks ago by the bus station here in Whangaz! LOL..was a good giggle. Thought 8 against me was a little harsh but there ya go. Just hope next time there aren't more of 'em.
Baggy pants crews...what that all about??????????
Its like that where I live too. Everyone knows everyone. Can't take a shit without someone knowing. And what they don't know they make up.

My brother went through the baggy pants stage. til we told him male prostitutes in america wear their pants down round their arse like that. (apparently its true too)

Yes well fair warning, even the little courtyard and that by the mall, people will have a shot at mugging you in there. Right out in the open too. Nice to see the cops doing the rounds now though.

What planet are you on......NZ is not going down the same hill and never will......sorry but I was not born here and NZ is safe as houses compared to the rest of the world.....just look at all the positives..

Bikers rule when it comes to helping others....how many car drivers get together like Sunday 18th and do Toy Runs to Starship....we have more of a appreciation of what is important so good on us......it does not matter that we do not get acolades, it only matters that the people we touch notice because we are not arrogant.....

    That's my bit over.....

I was cautious at first wether it was a trick to get me close enough to snatch my bag (horrible to have to think like that I know)

I got close enough and asked her what was wrong. She told me she felt dizzy and didn't feel all to good at all. Again she said "please help me" Next thing you know her eyes rolled up in her head and she collapsed on the floor. I tried supporting her all I could. Did anyone walking past bother to help? No. I don't think so. Did any stop to see if we were ok? Hell if "she" was ok? Nope.

she kind of sat on the floor for a minute then got up again. Told me she had to go to the bathroom. I left it at that. Something had me worried though and I decided to find mum. Told her what happened. She then asked me where she had gone just incase she collasped again.

Sure enough we found her in the public toilet collapsed on the floor. While people stepped over her body to get to the sink to wash her hands. Like wtf? You see someone collasped on the damn floor like that wouldn't it raise a brow? Wouldn't you at least ask if they were ok?

The girl was sweating like crazy. Went and got a lady in one of the shops to call an ambo, got a glass of water and wet cloth to whipe her brow with and try and cool her down some. She couldn't even reach for her glass of water let alone hold it. I had to place her hand round it.

I couldn't help but think to myself.. "What if that was my child collapsed on a public toilet floor" what if that was my child and someone who couldn't care less stepped over them so they could "wash their hands" and go back to their daily business. that is a very horrible thought.

I'm sure if it was their child they would have gave two fucks.

Thank you for helping that girl, hopefully your kindness will be paid forward to you. The world needs more people like you and your mom. I can see this from the girls perspective as I am a Type 1 Diabetic and something like that could happen to me and I would be relying on the public to help me out.

    Good on you.

Dude it'll only turn into South Africa if we let it, and the people here in NZ will not let that happen. Don't be so negative, keep a positive frame of mind.

Slowly it is going to turn into a place like that because sadly people are letting it get that way. Sorry but I have to agree with the guy.

People just honestly don't give a shit and it is starting to show in many small ways. Soon it will be in bigger ways.
