    some people..

I was standing outside a shop in the Whangarei mall today. A girl came and sat on the window ledge of a shop. Next thing you know I hear "could you please help me?" I was cautious at first wether it was a trick to get me close enough to snatch my bag (horrible to have to think like that I know)

I got close enough and asked her what was wrong. She told me she felt dizzy and didn't feel all to good at all. Again she said "please help me" Next thing you know her eyes rolled up in her head and she collapsed on the floor. I tried supporting her all I could. Did anyone walking past bother to help? No. I don't think so. Did any stop to see if we were ok? Hell if "she" was ok? Nope.

she kind of sat on the floor for a minute then got up again. Told me she had to go to the bathroom. I left it at that. Something had me worried though and I decided to find mum. Told her what happened. She then asked me where she had gone just incase she collasped again.

Sure enough we found her in the public toilet collapsed on the floor. While people stepped over her body to get to the sink to wash her hands. Like wtf? You see someone collasped on the damn floor like that wouldn't it raise a brow? Wouldn't you at least ask if they were ok?

The girl was sweating like crazy. Went and got a lady in one of the shops to call an ambo, got a glass of water and wet cloth to whipe her brow with and try and cool her down some. She couldn't even reach for her glass of water let alone hold it. I had to place her hand round it.

I couldn't help but think to myself.. "What if that was my child collapsed on a public toilet floor" what if that was my child and someone who couldn't care less stepped over them so they could "wash their hands" and go back to their daily business. that is a very horrible thought.

I'm sure if it was their child they would have gave two fucks.

    thanks for helping out

the apathy of some people astounds me these days... they just don't want to get involved.

rep to you for doing the right thing.

I find it really off that someone would not stop to help another person like that. It's a very callous person that acts like that, good on you for stopping tho.

Usual practice these days seems to be take pics or a video. God help any arsehole I see doing that instead of helping.

Great to know you did the right thing.

The girl was maori. All that stepped over her were white. ONE lady stopped and asked what was happening after we had the girl resting up waiting for the ambo. Funny thing is this woman was maori herself. Funny that. But then again who am I to make these comments. I'm white myself and yet both mum and I noticed that.

that is just disgusting! This is NZ! Whangarei isn't even a large place in nz. Makes you want to punch the fucker who stepped over the girl. Good on you for helping her out.
    From American dad :
American dads dad: Breaking into a safe is like making love to a woman

American dad: So you just pound on it for two minutes until your done?

you know whats worse, it happens more than once everyday - people just stop caring its called desensitising (sp). I was in the park and noticed a young asian girl walking through the bush - I saw a group of young "gansters" who I see outside the shelter on my way to work if I go the long way, so I decided to go up top and watch and make sure they didnt try anything - guess what they did - but I just shouted and they fucked off. broad daylight. fucken makes you sick - the amount of shit around here would keep some of you south aucklanders wondering

shot kittie, why didnt you come see me again I missed you... ahaha. FUCK you were the one that put that black powder on my bike eh?

That the park by farmers? If so I learnt not to go anywhere near there. Whangarei is actually turning into a very horrible place to be.

Sorry I thought I would leave you to your cucumbers. Plus I was tired and looked wasted off my face. Nice bike btw, powder was not me though.

Give her a kick in the ribs. Would have stopped her seeking attention

    EDIT: Sorry bad night
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
