    Kid Rock's better than U2

For everyone moaning about how quick the U2 tickets sold out, check this stat.

In Detroit, the Kids first concert sold out in 6 minutes, announced a second show, sold out in 9 minutes. Guess there's no excusing good taste.

Gotta agree with the Trashman on this one. Yep U2 were great - 15 years ago. But now they're almost Bob Geldoffish, Rolling Stonesish (who are still great but in a classic sense) - you know there's still some class there but it's probably time they sat on their laureals.

yip .. total pansy rock.. wouldnt pay $20 to watch someone set Bono on fire..(wait.. maybe i would..) whatever happened to hard hitting rock.. ACDC, Zepplin, Motorhed

now we are stuck with shit like 50 cent, Adult Contemporary power pop like that hi pitched dogwhistle song (James Best i think..im blocking..) and sellouts like Metallica and U2 ( incidentally.. im not speaking out of school here .. i MC'd a show with U2 years ago before they got big (university radio airplay and big bars) and they rocked! ( same with the Chili's)

we also have that "metal" (WTF is SLIPKNOT?) try some Maiden, Preist, Accept, Dio, etc

Kid Rock has balls the size of Australia..

Slipknot? Why don't those boys dress normally for a rock band? Something like a 40 year old school uniform?

yeah, but you're comparing the buying power of the Yanks in their squillions, to the lesser quantified kiwi, with a fraction of the contact numbers and outlets
