Your raise good points, swannys comments however were focussed mainly at the squad small front line unit rather than the organisation as a whole(how i read it). In which case he has a point. Woman have been shown to reduce combat effficiency of groups as the other members react differently when they are injured etc.

As I was leaving 10yrs ago I could see the writing on the wall for standards in the Army. Female soldiers serving alongside male, health and safety, double standards of female/male performance, political correctness, centralisation of regimental training, homosexuals and increase incidence of drug abuse. Soft, soft, soft.

Sorry Rashika, I'm with swanman here. I have never talked to anybody who has been at the sharp end who has been in favour of mixed gender frontline troops. The idea is usually put forward by people with little or no military experience who are pushing a feminist agenda.

as i said from the beginning I dont think mixed is good either, see my previous post... It was more do with the army/armed services as a whole

yep...and too an extent i agree, standards shouldn't slip to accomodate a minority... if ya cant make it, ya cant, change your occupation...simple!
