Hey SPman, I did 3 years at Ngapona, and my wife did 4, left in '92. Wish I had stayed in longer, looking back had a blast.

about 18 months in the territorials, as a medic ... 3 Med Bn based at Addington, woo... a long time ago, no barracks there now. Used to have the piss taken out of us when on parade by the immates next door (addington prison) looking out their windows at us.
Went to Golden fleece (no1) ...now that was a buzz! choppers overhead, being a medic we are based mostly at the hospital, with some detail out occassionally, just imagine M*A*S*H and you have an idea.
left to do my big OE, but it is a time of my life that I will remember for a long time, fkn awesome!

Yeah, thought I'd ask around a bit. I don't trust the mills that much - they tend to fluctuate too much for my liking. I suppose though that everyone does these days. Someone will know someone no doubt.

$1 nights were great weren't they? I still don't remember meeting my missus three weeks before I met her sober!! 15 years of marriage and two kids later...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

    we will remember them
