Dead friggin' right. That one year working for the Army and working for blokes who'd trained at Sandhurst and Duntroon taught me that I didn't want to be a manager, and that a decent manager is a long way from anyone I'd ever worked for, before or since. They inspire you to do your best without being patronising or insisting that you do things their way.

    Got any jobs Swanman?

I've been kinda impressed by this thread.
It's surprising how many people have been in the services and the broad spectrum of types of service and countries etc. Very impressive guys and gals!
we are not just a bunch of no good, long haired, rough, speedster bikers eh?

It's a case of like-minded people. I think generally most people here have a sense of community and the brotherhood/sisterhood of biking is the thing that brings us together. It surprised me at first that there were so many forces people here then I thought "why not?" The biker community has always stuck together and here is no different.
    Cheers! (another forces tradition)

Timor, loved it there. Nothing like hearing shooting at 5 in the morning to set your mood for the day. Had a couple of others, but Im not allowed to say

You guys are so lucky!!! (sarcasm) I went to Singapore for a bit to help out with the 1st battalion pullout but only for about a month. I spent more time pissed than anything and don't remember doing much work or remember much at all!
