666 - the Beast is dead.

    For my 666th post.....

My daughters car is a Daihatsu Charade GT Ti turbo - yesterday it was written off after an altercation with a bus a couple of weeks ago.In over 80,000km as an inner city courier driver this is her first big one - I had expected more. The beast is dead, long live the Beast!

That is no personal plate, that's standard issue.

SHit that little bit of damage wrote it off???? Although it is the B pilliar and it is structural? Is your daughter ok? no one got hurt?

Ive got a friend with one of those, with a GTi-R turbo on it, does 12 second 1/4's but thts waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy

Yeah, the B pillar is damaged,so it needs a rear quarter - it's still repairable, but not for what it's worth, they won't sell it back to me for a cheap enough price to repair. She has to move up a few years anyway.

No one hurt, even the passenger.Turning into a driveway after a bus stop...a bus double parked next to a bus at the stop - as she came around them the inside bus took off....smack!

100hp from a 1000cc 3cyl,they are little rockets alright, comparable to a Skyline turbo.I paid $150 for it and rebuilt it.Just a couple of days before it happened she said to me ''young guys keep coming up to me asking if I want to sell my car...what shall I do?'' Oh for a crystal ball.

Shite! Sounds like she and her passenger are lucky people. But that's a really impressive safety record for an inner city urgent courier - I'm well impressed.

Pity you can't sell that plate, it's prolly worth more than the car , even pre-crash.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Nicely done - "Up the Irons!"

You know Clive Burr (Original 'Maiden drummer - left after Number of the Beast) has really bad MS? Woah!! Even MORE OT. Sorry folks, but couldn't help but help out a fellow Maiden fan

Well what we need to do is have ourselves a great big "Maiden" party.

    Anyone know any bogan chicks?

I see the potential for a Kiwibiker Maiden tribute band here...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
